Hard to believe and understand why?

Sad, but unfortunately I think it's true. I've gotten mixed responses from various Japanese vendors. Some say yes it's OOP. Some said they just don't have any and are not expecting any. One thing is for sure, all the places I hit for my kits and wheels, no one had any in stock.
It's strange for Fujimi to discontinue a wheel that's only a year old. They've got older wheels that they still produce.

Classic way to choke supply to ensure any re-issues are bought up like wildfire. It puts Fujimi in a favorable position, almost guaranteeing sell-outs of any subsequent production run. And I bet Fujimi's confident that Aoshima won't re-release their AVS 5's first...

That is weird. My friend just got his shipment in, and there are a whole bunch of them. If you folks are still looking for them. Check out Mechahawaii.com . He still has some at his retail shop.
