'00 GS security system

just gotta GS about a month ago it comes with remote and security system inside. did this come originally in the car or did the previous owner install a security system?

It depends on what the remote looks like. Does the alarm use the horn or a siren? If it uses the horn and the remote looks like a factory remote then I would say it is a factory system. Acura offered a security system as an option.

it came with a remote that had 2 buttons. button 1 is lock/unlock. button 2 is options (not sure how to use this option) and there isnt a panic button on the remote so im not sure if it has a horn or siren.

im guessing its a system the person installed (non factory) because the remote doesnt have 'acura' logo on it. any help would be apreciated thanks

My buddy has an already installed one by acura and it has a panic button. Its probly aftermarket, does it chirp to confirm lock or unlock? Look under the hood for a siren, or set the alarm off yourself.

im sure its an aftermarket security system because theres some manuals about the security system i found in the manual. its a pursuit security system btw. and theres a switch by the left foot rest... its just there to let you change modes. is pursuit a good security system... just woundering.
