ok... heres what im workin on doin to mine.

rite now i have skunk2 stage2 cams, titanium valve springs and retainers.
im saving to get an edelbrock intake manifold and throttle body.

once i have the manifold and tb im gonna install it all in one shot. should make another 30-40 horsepower and the entire intake side of my motor will be upgraded.

u could do the same as me!

ALLMTR's 12 second 690kilo 3rd gen Civic with CR-VTEC is running Toda As for 12 second NA quarter miles. I'm guessing the Cs are going to provide a lumpier idle but a bit more power up Emil. He's going a K series CR-VTEC setup in it next and isn't bothering to go any further with cams.

How's the Civic going mate?

"How is my civic goin'???" SHITTY very SHITTY
Folks in here thinks that I'm totally

Okey here is the story:

-bought an B16A2 engine (just engine)
-then I thought that it would be nice to have some nice
cams and all the other parts from ITR
I bought that too
-so then I thought it would be nice to get some nice head gasket
O.K. I bought the mugen 0.6 metal head gasket
-race clutch (friend had one new for race, I just couoldn't resist)
-O.K. I thought that that was all nice and clean
-next step is to build engine
-first problem appears pistons don't won't to go out they
are rusted into the block
-I had to buy new ones so I decide to go all racing so NA
pistons here I come, bought specially designed pistons for race
$800 for pistons
(ohhh yeah just one month pay check for those :0( )
-O.K. I've got the pistons all is well and nice we
did the head job and the block was redone also for new pistons and
to remove rust
-and then when I finally thought that now the engine is going together
my mechanic said that I really need to replace bearings on crankshaft
and rods, "ohhh yes do it to me..." and now I must buy those and the price for those is cca.$500 SHIT they are so expencive :0(
-So this month with a little luck I'll be buyin' those and the I really really hope that the engine is going together...

I'll go just crazy if anything else will apear !!!!
I just can't handle anymore this fucking engine is killing
my budget so much :0(

So here are the parts I already bought:

-B16A2 (crappy engine) 96' with only 90.000km done on it
-tranny hydraulic B16A2 (with all stuff for conv.)
-B16A2 Axles (I hope they will work with my set up)
-HASport mount kit (EFBI)
-HASport shift linkage
-HASport wireing harness
-ITR cam gears
-ITR cam shafts
-ITR valve springs
-ITR valves
-ITR header
-ITR oil pan
-PISTONS race NA
-race clutch
-APEX'i air filter

For protection:

-AM watter temp. gauge
-AM oil pressure gauge
-AM oil temp. gauge

So now I need:

-bearings for crankshaft and rods
-HASport EFB2 tranny mount(for my hydraulic tranny)
(I'm selling the EFBI it's brand new )

And then we'll see what will came out of that

I must say that I don't have luck with this engine
it wasn't worth a dimme, shit if I would just knew that before
