Skyline= not my favorite

I was playing Gran Turismo 3 last night and was going to race a skyline I had just recieved and modded. It is a GT-R Vspec II and I had it up to 948hp. I went into the settings, adjusted accordingly and proceeded to begin. Im sorry, but anyone who says the Skyline handles like a dream is full of it. I hate that care hate hate HATE IT. Ive driven cars with more horsepower that handled better than that. Now, Im sure you could argue "well you didnt have your settings right" or "you're just a horrible driver." But, Ive won races on the same courses with different cars no problem. I Just dont think I will really ever use my skylines on anymore races.

Give the GTR-R Vspec I (R34) a shot.. I got 1078 HP out of it... and lemme tell you.. it rocks!! But then again... it's a matter of individual opinion... By the way.. what do you use your car for?? Grip racing? Drifting? Speed racing? The different styles require different settings (as you know by now )

Okay dude. You had a bad runin with a skyline. get over it. besdes, you just have to find the settings of the car that fit you best. trust me. I have much worldly wisdom.

Re: Skyline= not my favorite

Well in defense to J_Swigz, when you put that much power into the Skyline, it becomes very hard to handle. But after fine tweaking the car's settings and learning to handle car, you can get fast lap times from a fully tuned Skyline. I put too many hours playing the game (and that car) so I'm able to tame a fully-tuned R34.
Out of all the 4wd cars, the Skyline GTR does handle the best stock, I've noticed. Other cars, like the Evo's, handle like crap compared to the GTRs. If you choose to race a 4wd stock car, I definately recommend the GTRs instead of anything else.

Re: Skyline= not my favorite

Yeah, to much power in the Skyline is just dumb, it'll light up all 4 tires through 4 gears, making it damn difficult to control. I have an R34 with 1000Hp, but I like my R32 with 750-800 Hp much better, much more balanced car.

Re: Skyline= not my favorite

More idiots who like more power. I bet you, Swig, think a car with more power is invicenable. Your wrong. My 500Hp Clio Racer can take your 1,000Hp Cars anyday on a circuit.

Re: Skyline= not my favorite

Depends on the length of the track and the length of the race. Isn't the Clio sport a FWD drive car? Say goodbye to your tires after one or two laps at 500 HP.
