One of those people...

Have you ever known one of those people that, all they had to do is say a few things the right way and they were so far under your skin, that it pissed you off for days? Yeah, kinda had a run in last night. My friend Dusty and I are out eating at steak and shake, and we're getting ready to leave when someone I haven't seen in a year and half comes walking with himself, his girlfriend, and his bass player from his band. He's looking like something out of the 70's which is fine, nothing wrong with that, anyways, he comes over and we begin to convers and one of the first things out of his mouth is an insult. He says, in that really condescending tone, "wow, you havent changed since sophomore year." Now, he's seen me all of a minute and a half after being away for about a year and a half. WHAT IS THAT BULLSHIT???? Now, I have blue hair at this moment as it was halloween, so it was up in spikes and I was wearing black, which I think made him think "hmm, looks like a loser" yeah right. At any rate, things continue, and he asks me what Ive been up to so I say "nothing really, school, work, Im a bit more open with my views than I was before, and very much open with my sarcasm" and the asshole says "yeah, Ive just grown up." and he cant even look at me when he says it. I mean honestly, have a little respect. At that point they left to sit down and Dusty, who knew this guy's girlfriend is looking at me like "what the fuck was that?" Anyways, we finish our meal, and while I go to pay the bill Dusty goes over and promotes the show his band is playing in next month and when we left (because I missed the convo) He said "I really dont like that guy, he was eyein me like it was his job." Needless to say that Dusty hates this dude, and he just met him, that's pretty sad when you can inflict that much hatred on someone you've just met. Anyways, that's my spiel, I just needed to get that out of my system.

One way I've learned to deal with those people is be twice the dickhead they are. If someone I don't really know says something personally offending I make it my goal to make their life a living hell when they're around me. You have to make them think that every time they open their mouth you are going to make them look like an idiot. I know it sounds agressive, rude, and crude but it works! But then again, I think I may have some mental problems.

Re: One of those people...

I hate those kinds of people. I agree with blindside though, make them feel like a moron and they should go away. Unless they are the type of people who will fight over anything, it will work.

i agree, i hate that shit aswell. theres a lot of people like that here where i live, specially all the posh rich bastards that drive sport cars and mercedes. and theyre old and really grumpy. either that or theyre asian and really annoying, yet they still can make your day a living hell for you just by chucking more bullshit on top of ya to make it even MORE frustrating.

if there was a way to shut them up, and show them that theyre jsut "NOT top shit ok!", id be most happy to punch them in the spine, better yet shove them in a cage and drown them.
GRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! if someone was as rude as that "Dusty" guy, id be so angry.. i wouldnt let it slip. damn, id pick up the nearest rock and throw it at his fucking face
sorry violence, but i get very angry when i dont like someone or something. even tho if im not violent at all, i still like to think i "could be" but ... then again , i guess bugger it.

call me a psycho.

Re: One of those people...

Yeah, the only reson people have to put others down are to boost their self esteem. Today i had my AC/DC playing (Back In Black) and some bitch said "turn that crap off"Not only was it the way she said it, but she offended one of the best (imo) bands ever.
