Road handling fool.

I think im going to keep my GS after all, and instead of making it 1/4 mile fast, Im going to make it a FWD - awesome as crap handling car. I need to know what kind of struts and coilovers to get! Please dont tell me Teins or something. I cant spare 1000 bucks for coilovers. But anything that will increase handing exceptionally...please tell me.Thanks.

Ground Control Coilovers, Koni shocks, ST Sway bars, lower tie bar, & lightweight wheels, awesome tires. If you can't spare the loot, don't spend it on something sub-par. You'll not only regret it, but you'll feel what a 100$ suspension feels like.

Good Choice!

Nice job man, finally some people realize that all cars can go in a straight line, but a certain few can really terrorize the roads/cone courses. I think the other guy has a good setup, right now my GS is stock but its going to be all motor, i dont want to worry about turbo lag.

Re: Road handling fool.

I am looking in the same direction. If your serious about corner carving i would go with Tein or JIC coilover kits. They are full kits and include the shocks and everything. I would suggest you get a shop to get your inital setup right or you won't be happy. Sprint Performance also makes a Strut tower bar that actually looks stiff enough to work. It looks like the Evo 8's little brother. You can find them all at DSMtuners.com with pricing and all that good stuff

When I did GC coilovers, Illumina adjustable shocks, and GC biller upper mounts, the cost was about 1100 bucks installing it all myself. Tiens arent much more, nor are custom valved konis with GCs. JICs are more like 1600 if I remember correctly. Your call.
