Fuel Pump Fuse
In the case of the fuel pump the most likely cause is a short to ground.
In other words, a wire has rubbed against the body and exposed the bare wire under the insulation. Good News, cheap fix. Bad News, Finding it. I doubt that the fuel pump is faulty. The only [electrical] fuel pump failures that I know of occured in 15-20 year old vehicles or cars approaching 200,000+ miles. Please post your findings so we can learn too. |

Or theres a fault in the pump thats causing it to draw too much current and thus blow a fuse.
