Changing the front speakers which I believe are 5 1/4" is really simple if you have power windows all you have to do is take off the door panel and the speaker is just clipped in. I put a 6 3/4 Kenwood Excelon component system in the front it fit like a glove. The 4x6 on the rear pillars are very easy to replace but there is a depth problem and most aftermarket speakers do not fit. Crutchfield.com will tell you what will fit and what wont. I have a regular cab and I couldnt stand the 4x6's because they were ear level and only two inches away! So I removed them (they were Infinitys, not stock) and slid two five way 6x9's along with an 8" subwoofer behind the seat and it sound much better. Good luck.
