E30 325i

Im in the process of buying a 1990 325i with about 200k miles on it.this worries me but the engine was rebuilt along with many other new parts like a clutch, a new head and exhaust.what Im really worried about is it's performance in the snow.I plan on driving a significant amount in the winter and am wondering if any of you BMW owners could give me some input.

You're gonna struggle in the snow.

I just experienced my first snow with my BMW and boy.... let me tell ya I'm considering adding another sub or 12. This thing goes NO WHERE.... let me rephrase that. My BMW does not move when it snows. Uh uh.... no way. Just ain't happenin. Now I've got a 320i so I don't have as much "umph" behind mine as you.... but still this aint' gonna be a fun winter.

You need tires with massive treads, then they're drievable in snow, but the radials or all weather tires...you're pushing!!
