Who has a non-stock engine?

Just wondering who has a new engine put in their car and how does it run. I was thinking of putting in a new engine but someone told me their car never ran the same again after that. Also did you do it yourself, was it hard??

i have an accord with a 93 h22, and it runs great. although its in need of a major tuning, i just dont have the money for one yet. i also put in some parts that could affect pre-tune performance. but before i get it tuned im going to be putting in a chipped p72. the only problem i had was a faulty hydraulic tensioner. but from what ive read around random forums, its a common thing.

Well I will let you know next week how my JDM H22A will work in my 98 Lude.... had to buy a new motor, hydrolocked the stock one. should come in next week and i will spend the weekend installing it.

I got a 98 SH with 71k Miles - only reason i am replacing is bcause i blew my motor

hey infamous racing, how hard was that B16A to put in your lude? I have a customer who wants a B16A or B18C in his, and wondered what the compatibility is like, as far as the ECU, wiring, OBD equipment, Axles, tranny, etc.

Any info is appreciated!!

i have a JDM H22A in my del Sol. Lemme just say that this whole swap has been a fucking bitch and when it does work right it is quick as hell but right now it sucks. It seems fine when i give it 10% throttle but when i floor it, it sounds like its going faster but its not at all. feels like im in 5th gear when im in 3rd or 4th.
