Chevy hasn't released their plans on a new performance car yet. Myself, I'd like to know what its going to be...I hope Chevy doesn't follow in the sad footsteps Ford did with the Mustang, putting in the (281?) block. If they had any wits left, they'd stay ahead of the Mustang with a powerful V8 with at least 325 Cu. I was about to buy a '02 Camaro SS, but I had some untimely financial burdens, so I'll have to wait on it. But when I do buy, if Chevy has a 2 door with the above engine, I might buy it instead. Depends on the body I suppose. Whatever Chevy comes out with, it'll be a beast I'm sure.

If/when they do come out with another F-body and it's potent/more potent than the one I have right now, I'll be first in line...

Oh...what I wish...*whimpers*
It would be a dream come true...GM continuing the f-bodies...but look at why they stopped them...from a business standpoint I highly doubt they'll continue them...but I suppose we can still hope and wish.

oh lord... sorry guys, not all of us are so stupid as civicgs-r. but I have to admit... that little story was funny as hell.
now for my comment on this... they have revived the GTO right? (Seen it, looks damn nice except for the basically Grand Prix grill it has) I bet the next Chevy performance car if they bring one back out will be off of the same platform.

Gto
Yes the new GTO is soon to hit the streets and its damn sexy, Chevy has the SS concept but god knows if it'd hit production and at 400hp we're probibly not talking affordable F-body replacement. Personally I'm hoping for a chevy version of the GTO as thats getting to be a beast. and most people agree it looks good as to the "some love it some hate it" of the final f-body's (I loved it personally).
