Question About my 95 maxima se 5sp

i bought it like 2 months ago with 95k miles, so its 1 owner, great condition, but now wen i drive it, and stop, and keep engine on, it shakes, mildly, but u can feel it, is this bad, also do u recomend geting a sports clutch, casue i tried my freinds eclipse and another freinds integra, and their clutch releases so quick, and is so easy to switch, mine is like slow, it catches on really high, and it makes like a ripping nose wen starting into 1st gear, please gimi some advice, also the guy i bought it off had NO problems, im debating wether or not to buy a 2 year waranty, if i get it i waste 800$, and i cant get parts like intake or racing chip, if i dont, and some dumb shit breaks ill drop a couple hundred, over and over, wat do u think...

Re: Question About my 95 maxima se 5sp

i just replaced clutch and outer shift boots.. came to $600.

if it is your tranny, you better get the warranty, that's another $1000.

my clutch releases late, that's just how nissans make their clutches. you're lucky you dont have an altima, it gets REALLY bad...

stock clutch should be fine, i ran a 15.4 a couple days ago completely stock, and im still learning how to drive stick.

yeesh! the engine shakes a little eh? i had that problem so i replaced the plugs (denso) and bam! problem gone. if not, it could be one of those coil thingys went bad. depends on how bad the shake.

I would just go with a new stock clutch unless you want to turbo or sc it.

I bought my 95 se 5 speed at 60k miles. mildly tuned it and horsed around. that led to chains and cams replaced at 90k miles; clutch, tranny and boots at 107k. I remember my mechanic friend's dooming words "well hank, you gotta pay to play." boy, i sure did.
