A few question about my recently bought maxima

I just bought a 94 maxima gle from my friend for 1000 smackers who was trying to get rid of it because he just bought an audi a4 quartro. Anyway i doubt that you care. I have already dropped about 400 bucks in it with completely new brakes, i had a cracked front something, and my speed sensor was just replaced. Now, on to the next thing that I was fixed that i think i can do myself with some help from you guys. My automatic lock are not working any long and i need some ideas on what it might be. and I need to know where I can find my 7 digit number to change the code on the side panel of the car?

What in the hell did you just ask?

7 Digit number on the side panel? ... umm.. your VIN #? That's on the inside of the driver door...

Automatic lock? umm you mean the device that locks the stick from moving into certain gears with out having the brake pressed first?

I believe that number is in the glove compartment. There was a thread on hear earlier about that. Open the glove compartment up and look in there. It is pretty hard to see because it is on the top, so you might have to be laying down to see it.

Do a search here to find out more.
