which relay for auxiliary fan

I have an 89' cherokee and my auxiliary fan is not coming on when the temperature is high. I replaced the sensor and still nothing. I think that it might be a bad relay, but I don't know which one to replace. My Chilton's manual doesn't give a diagram anyone got one?

Re: which relay for auxiliary fan

Does anyone know where to get a good after market fan. Also I had same problem with my fan. So I just hard wired a switch inside so when I'm at idle for a while I just turn it on. Don't have ot use it much just in heavy traffic.

I've seen them at knechts for about $60-80(they had several sizes), the sensor for the temp-switch was extra (I'm not sure how much).

Re: which relay for auxiliary fan

I have an 88 Cherokee. My switch is on the driver side of the radiator. A cable runs back to the harness. When I unplug the sensor and short sensor connector, the fan comes on. Anyone know where I can find a sensor with a temp rating that's closer to 210 degrees? Rumor is the switch doesn't kick in until just under red-line on the temp gauge.
