Any real differences between the 93-97 model supras?

I mean through out the gen? Or would it be better to just buy a 93 and save some money without paying the extra cost for a newer year?

Usually there is a few different types of issues that aren't sorted out for atleast 2 years in most cars. And another thing the only difference between 93-96's is the head and tail-lights if I'm not mistaken.

many differences

from 1993-1994, nothing changed except the N/A cars got a numerically slightly higher final drive ratio.
1995:no changes
1996:Turbo models lost the six speed manual gearbox because they failed to meet stricter emissions laws, so all turbos got four speed automatics with sport shift mode. Minor changes to interior and options list
1997:all 1997 models were sold as limited addition, 15th anniversary models. the anniversary package included a rear spoiler, premium cassette stereo, special floor mats, and limited edition exterior badging. turbo models once again received the six speed manual transmission. Head and taillights received a new graphite surround compared to the previos chrome, and all the turbo models sported the turbo badging. All supras also received additional frame strengthening and sound deading material.
1998:final year of supra. Again, because of emissions regulations, no turbocharged models were available in california emission states, and only automatic non turbos were sold in these areas. Normally aspirated models got a Variable Valve Timing with intelligence, which bumped horsepower to 225, a five hp increase. for 1998, all radio heads were redisgned.
and those are the differences, hoped that helped
