Hey I was interested in putting mufflers on my grand am gt but I want a deep sound not a cheap sounding POS. I was looking into purchasing from Borla. Any body have mufflers that they like? Or have any good recommendations?
Thanks

I would go with Borla if you want to spend the cash. It is the best quality and produces a very distinct sound. It's not abnoxious as some of the others and it will defiinitely give you a boostin power. I just put a Borla catback on my 02 Z24 (Cavalier) and it sounds great and i definitely got some extra power. My cavy has the same engine as the base grand am. I'm sure that it will sound great on a Grand am, especially if it's a GT with the 3.1/3.4.

Re: mufflers for Grand Am GT
I have SLP's cat back system. T-304 stainless, and sounds tuff! I threw out the tips that come with the kit (they look like sh*t) and got some chromed, roled over 4" single tips.
