New Guy with 79 Bonneville
Hello I am new around here, sold the old Crown Vic so I left the CV forum and came over here. Picked up a super clean 1979 Bonneville in central Florida where I live with 108,000 original. It has GTO wheels on it, and the rear fender skirts are gone. It looks pretty good, not bad for $1,000. Rides super smooth, no leaks, new tranny.
Just wanted to know if any others with 78/79/s were out there. Still trying to figure out how to post a photo of it here. Scott |

Re: New Guy with 79 Bonneville
Same boat (pun) here- got a 76 bonneville, mint interior no frills with 45,000 miles for $1500 - smoothest ride around, and a tank that scares even the biggest suv's! One problem: seem to lose a lot of battery power very quickly on 1 year old battery. Anybody have this problem? It went dead on me with the lights on and wipers (not running) after about 15 minutes, way too soon....
