Need some opinions...

Hey,

I've never owned a Ford before..but I just sold my prelude and am considering a 1997 Mustang Cobra...

What do you guys think about them? Is it a good year? Any problems or should it be a good fun car?

Thanks ya'll...

97 Cobra = FUN, very fun actually and damn good. It has all the problems a car should have.

If im wrong then someone correct me.

#1 The Camaro is out, it can't handle the heat of this country.
#2 So much for "The Camaro is out...", I found one which is tuned to handle the heat and its 1995 for 2.5K, its not my final decision though.
#3 Camaro is out, someone bought it before me.
#4 Found a 300ZX 1986 in good condition for 2400, will take it for a check up on thursday.

No real notorious problems other than your rear tires always seem to wear fast

I have test driven many cars, but not rich enough to buy them. Actually, you would be surprised at the type of cars a salesperson will let you test drive if you wear an pressed shirt and tie. Anyway, the Cobra scared the sh*t out of me. It's scary fast. You may possibly never reach the limits of the car without wrecking it or yourself. You owe it to yourself to at least test drive a Cobra.

All I would do is suspension...I love handleing and huging curves (I use to have a prelude).

Is it possiable to turn one of them into a good AutoX car?
