how bad does the audi 1.8t suck
wonderin if any of u had the same opinions i do
i have a friend with a 99 audi a4 1.8t quatro and hes got a nice list of mods handr springs and shocks lltek front and rear sway bars full turbo back exhaust no cats muffler bought from pes hks intake blitz boost controller set at 15psi new motor with 45000 on it short throw shifter front 14" stoptech kit 19" wheels with p9000 blitz b.o.v. car is slow as balls got beat by a stock 93 civic ex on the straight and on backroads ran a 16.3 ???????driver????????car??????? even if it was the driver come on now car sux ass

That sucks
Sounds like your friend wasted his money on those mods. My 98 isnt the fastest thing off the line but it does have top end. The A4 is a tank when it come to weight, 3200lbs, thats why its slow off the line asshole. Now if i really wanted to race ppl i wouldnt of bought the A4, ppl buy it b/c of top end plus the fine interior package included with the car.

shit is awd it should launch awsome off the line fuckin car has no top end its slow ass hell waste of a car may look nice inside but it is a dog pile when it comes to ANY performance situations

well i just feal if u have a nice lookin car u should have at east a little somethin to back it up i guess when i think of building a car yes i want it to look good but i also want it to be fairly fast beating a civic isnt fairly fast at all im sayin even 14 second 1/4 mile is respectable now a days
and yes at the end of the day that kid is still drivin a civic that beat that beautiful looking a4.....a civic

You forgot the S4
If you want the power to back it up, then look into an S4. These bi-turbo beasts def have the backing that you need plus it has all of the interior features of an A4.. No to mention the new 2004 S4 which is a V8, I'd like to say WHOA to that.

Most production cars are not made to race, even the S2000 ( my other car) isn't made for racing, well ok maybe it is, but it's just as much a daily driver.. If cars were meant to be raced they would be sold already race prepped... I didn't get the A4 to race, I got mine because it's a nice 4 door, with a little luxury.. No reason to bash the A4, or any car for that matter, each car is made the way it is for a reason, it's to target certain groups of people, and it just so happens that most of the people who drive an A4 could care less about mods.. We just happen to love them.!!!!

Both the A4 and the Civic are good cars each in their own way... Let's not get into some stupid fight where people just call eachother names and spit out rants... Your entitled to your opinion, but your not entitled to push it upon others.. Thank you..
