Talking Motors done... woot

It came home in a bag... looking pretty sad...

But after about $3700 worth of love and caring... she turned out a beautiful 550lb girl... 31 inches long. Awww she' so cute.

The cuteness won't last for long... soon i'll be beating up that motor in my car.

haha, well I probably won't supercharge this motor...

It's internals aren't good enough for it... So that mean's I'll probably start over with a whole new motor and build a streetable race motor.

But that probably won't happen till I get a better job that pays well. Untill then, i'll stick to my N/A setup with the 383.

Congrats Red,
She's a beauty. Are those Hedmans? What's its CR and cam specs? When do you plan to drop her in and fire her up? Keep us posted and PM me when she's broken in and ready for some abuse.

Just remember this Redneck: There's corners on that road too.

But damn that's a fine lookin' motor. She needs to get between your Nova's fenderwells posthaste.

Those are Hooker Competition Headers, CR is currently 10.25:1 and the Camshaft is a Comp Cam Extreme Energy Hyd. Cam with 477"/480" Lift (Intake/Exhaust) 268*/280* Adv. Dur (Intake/Exhaust) 110* L/C

Oh and You'll be one of the first people I'll let know when she's ready to be ridden hard.

Aye I know, motor will find its way into the car as soon as I've got the transmission rebuilt. A quick $400 at a local shop will take care of that.

That would be a Holley 750 CFM Carb Double Pump with Mechanical Secondaries. Vaccum secondaries are for little kids, I want to dump all the fuel I can down that intake instantly.

Makes me miss my 83GT. Ahhhh the simple, gas wasting, power making carb with mechanical secondaries. God I miss having all four barrels open before I dropped the clutch.
