China sends man into space

Did you guys read about China putting a man in space? Quite a feat. Only the third nation do actually do it. I know they plan on getting to the moon in the next decade or so. I'm glad someone is finally going back there.

I was reading about that myself.
I don't know your thoughts but I got the impression from the article that they had a fair amount of help from their neighbour.

Considering they enter the 'space race' at the same time as the Soviet Union and the US, they've got some catching up to do. However, they are only the thrid country to put a man in space so that is an impressive accomplishment.

Re: China sends man into space

VERY impressive. Getting to space isn't easy, even today. But I would love to see someone get to the moon again. That would be super exciting.

I guess countries don't see the point in wasting money to go to a place with virtually nothing on it. Bragging rights I guess?

Re: China sends man into space
