Modeling Terminology
There seem to have a lot of question on what certain terms mean, so here is a thread where we shall add what the meaning is to certain terms related to modeling and even the forum in general!
![]() Add anything appropriate with a written definition.. I'll start by adding a few off the top of my head.. FLASH - Excess/unwanted plastic that is attached to parts/trees. ORANGE PEEL - Paint condition where the surface resembles the skin of an orange. LHS - acronym for Local Hobby Shop. CURBSIDE - Model kit that has no engine detail besides what is shown on the underside/chassis. IMO - acronym for In My Opinion. FYI - acronym for For Your Information. Go ahead and add or even add to/correct what I've/others will add!
