Re: Tokico Illumina or Tokico HP Shocks?
Spend the extra money for adjustables.
I would go with Koni or KYB myself. |

Depends on what you are looking for?
I have just installed HPs on my '96 Accord. Basically, it's tighter than OEM which is what I want for taking hard turns but smooth enough for everyday driving. Illuminas are adjustable but do you need to adjust the dampening for hard driving? I really didn't care to adjust the dampening, I'm not racing in a slow 2.2 liter auto-tranny Accord. |

Tokico Illumina or Tokico HP Shocks, What's the difference?
What is the difference between adjustables and non-adjustables? What are the Pros and Cons of each? Also, its only for daily driving. Thanks.

What springs are you using?
Hmmmmm . . .Ajustables allow you to adjust shock dampening // non-adjustables dont allow for adjustments. Adjustables usually cost more & are better suited for street/race or race only - Non adjust. are the basic shock upgrade for every day driving. When lowering a car I recommend adjustables. |
