electrical problem ?

I have a 1990 Acura Integra GS. The power windows and sunroof seem very slugish. Also when the air temperature is cold you can't remove the key until you hear a solenoid sound around the shifter. Is there something that could be making the electrical weak.

They say WD-40 fixes everything so I tried it on my 89 Mazda 626's sunroof when it got sluggish and it seemed to help quite a bit. 13 years of dirt and crap on anything can make it sluggish so just give it a good cleaning be carefull about letting the wd sit on the paint for anything over 30 seconds or so as it can hurt paint if it isn't wiped off, although it makes a great tar remover as long as you wipe it off.

That would seem kind of wierd to just spray on your windows. Obviously be careful where you spray. I dont know about the key thing

The WD-40 is mainly for the sunroof and the windows. The windows would require the removal of the door panel spraying down all the tracks and guides really good and then apply some sort of grease or oil (make sure it's applied in a way that from that point on it doesn't smear on the windows everytime it goes up and down.) Clean and put some grease/oil on the sunroof guides/tracks anything that you can get to.

Go to honda they have stuff made just for that, and it lasts 50 times longer than WD-40 and is about the same price.
