Completed at long last. 1969 Dodge Superbee 440+6. 5 Pictures, more to come.

Finally finished it, but my camera has been playing around so I'll have to take detailed engine and interior pictures later.

Painted Tamiya Camel Yellow with flat black and satin black interior with a felted parcel shelf and nitrous bottle mounted in between the front seats. 4 Superbee decals on windows and 2 on air cleaner, black stripe used instead of white stripe, 18" Aoshima wheels painted gloss black, brakes from Tamiya Mercedes-Benz DTM 2002 racer & 2 metal mufflers.

Hope you enjoy it, stick around because within 24 hours I will take some photos of the interior and engine.

Very nice. I know these kinds of cars aren't appreciated as much as they should be, and that's too bad.

Reminds me, I should get to building my Orange Cuda.

Ok, so they are case sensitive...... Nobody told me that

Well I tried the white paper behind the model, because alot of people seem to do that now, looks alright... I'll get around to taking the detail and interior photos when the sun comes back out.

Well I suppose spending all this time and effort fixing this thread up is worth it.

Not bad. I like how the paint scheme ties in with the interior and the wheels. The stance looks a tad bit odd to me, but the whole of the car is very clean and nicely done.

Re: Re: Completed at long last. 1969 Dodge Superbee 440+6. 5 Pictures, more to come.

Thanks Antonio, just be careful with the stripe on the back, as you can see mine didn't stick down where it crosses the panel lines for the trunk/boot.
Use some decal softener

Thanks also, Layla's keeper. The stance looks wierd because it is in a cardboard box, its got two tabs on the bottom but no tab in the middle, so the car has sunk into it a little, I'll fix it up eventually. The oil sump is about 1.5mm above the ground and the diff is maybe 6mm off the ground.

Keep in the muscle car spirit because I got a Hemi powered Superbird rolling on 20 inch chrome Torque Thrusts coming soon

I built one about 3 years ago but sold it like a dummy; it was metallic red with the black stripe. I'll build it the same way I think. Give us some engine shots! How's that Monte?

I'll get the interior, undercarriage and engine shots up later tonight or tomorrow, it's just gone overcast, looks likes rain. The Monte is going well, I've switched the 4 chrome pumps to 4 Reds Gold Superpumps with 4 dumps, I've lowered it and painted the underbody gloss black, I have to wait for some money so I can get a can of Gloss Black to paint the body, and I need to get a rear passenger sides taillight and then she will be finished within days. The Superbee and Superbird are being built while I wait because I feel guilty leaving them for so long.

That looks great man. I love everything about it. The color, the rims, everything. I have to have that kit now. Who makes it?

Look very good! So I'll be waiting for some more pics! But is that decal on the trunk ok? Looks somewhat raised in places? Could be that it should be like that, only that the yellow colour doesn't show the lines on the body. I wanna see the engine!
