1970 Egg White Dodge Challenger R/T 440+6 [Vanishing Point]
Okay, i started out with the Revell die-cast Vanishing Point Challenger. The only thing metal about it is the body, everything else is molded black plastic. I built it up, and got tired of looking at the all black engine bay and interior. So i ripped it all apart. I decided to dump the un-detailed 440, for a little more detailed 440 from a Revell plastic GTX. Everything else will be painted correctly. (DOH, i broke the pistol grip in it! AH!)

You broke the pistol grip!?
How well is the detail on the car? Is it worth the 12.50 my LHS has it for, or not? Keep us updated.

Thought you might like this... It isn't mine, but I took the picture at Bridgecon 2004 in Saskatoon, SK. It also showed up in Calgary at the RMMC contest.

Yea, The end wasnt the greatest. (Considering they blew up a 1968 Camaro). I do have vanishing point on VHS. The best part was when he races that Jaguar XKR...lol. That other challenger looks awesome.

Re: 1970 Egg White Dodge Challenger R/T 440+6 [Vanishing Point]
What a great movie "Vanishing point" is! Great car, great V8 burble, great landscapes, great music, great everything! I think I saw this movie no less than 10 times, no kidding; what a shame it ends so sadly. Don't waste your time watching the 1997 remake.
![]() By the way, I would be glad to see the finished Dodge Challenger model! It seems to me detailed and above all well proportioned. ![]()
