trip meters
Can anybody shed more light on the trip meters and how they connect. Both of mine quit working

I've heard of a few other people's dash guages not working correctly. I think it has something to do with a resistor on the back of the instrument cluster going bad. I could also be wrong.
Does your speedometer work? If so, then something mechanically might have broken inside the instrument cluster. If you have no speedo, then of course your odometer and tripmeter don't work, because the speedometer makes those spin as well.
