2001 tahoe rear hatch/window and power door locks
got a 2001 tahoe and love it. In the past two months my rear hatch will not lock and I can not open my rear window.
Yesterday, my power door locks were clicking and they they ceased to work setting off the alarm. they magically are working again, but does anyone know what's up? |

Re: 2001 tahoe rear hatch/window and power door locks
I have a 95 Tahoe that is more or less doing the same thing. The power locks on both doors do not work, but the FOB does. The rear hatch window does not work with either the button on the dash or the FOB. I have no idea why????? Fuse?????

My Jimmy has had the clicking problem and I haven't been able to find the answer. It got so bad that I had to pull the 5A fuse for the inside door lock buttons to make it stop. This in-turn kept the rear window from being opened with a key or using the button on the dash.
Skozim, did you ever find a solution? Pat3prop, I believe your fuse is shot, so this is why you are not getting the door locks to function. NOt sure about yours, but mine is labelled, "Mir/Lcks" and is rated for 5 amps, might check that one. Jeff |

Re: 2001 tahoe rear hatch/window and power door locks
happened to me too on my '96 2dr 4x4. i had blown one of the cigarette lighter fuses, and that somehow made the power door locks and rear hatch stop working. once i replaced the fuse everything was fine again.
