WTF does 'SPOCOM' mean?

Ray is completely correct; some Japanese people are fascinated by the way SPOrt COMpacts cars are tuned/ fixed up here in the states and they have entitled the phenomenon SPOCOM. Think of it like the way JDM (Japanese Domestic Market) is very popular here in the U.S.

A group of people in Japan who envy the American import scene. Ever been to a Hot Import Nights show...or seen pictures? Thats what they build their cars like. They also use our parts from popular manufacturers such as APC, Ractive, etc.

I'm not a fan of those show type vehicles. Also those Japanese must be mad to import products from APC and the like. Oh well.
