cv-join replacement, 1994 sentra xe m/t
My Dad and i were replacing the cv-joints in the sentra, its a 94 4dr, and we got them all in and everything- but when we pulled them out of the tranny, all the fluid ran out. Well this wouldnt normally be a problem, but the tranny fluid looked like 30 weight motor oil, not heavy at all, which perplexed us. I was wondering if anyone knows what weight tranny fluid nissan uses for the 92-94 sentras, and where the fill and drain plug are>? thanks alot!

Re: cv-join replacement, 1994 sentra xe m/t
I don't know the specifics for your car, but on mine the tranny fluid was very thin (and smelled like ass
). Check the manual, it should say what weight it is. I replaced mine with Redline MT-90, it was an exact match for the stock weight.
