i have a chevy silverado and i am gonna put a system in it. i am pretty experieced with car audio. i was thinkin of goin with the e10a.22 in a vented box with the dimensions like they recomend and the avionixx 800.2 do you think it is worth the investment for good sound quality. i was also wondering which component system you all recomend. i was thinking rockford or jl. peace

It should sound nice as hell, as you can tell from my sig I have the 12a in the recommended vented enclosure with the 800.2. I'd recommend it to ANYONE, every time I start my car it sends a chill down my spine.

focals are nice, mb quart, I've heard good things about jl xr components...diamond, cdt, boston acoustics
it all depends on what you're willing to spend. For any quality speaker you will need a good amp to power it as well, I would recommend something that puts out around 75-100 to each side.

My friend has some Diamonds in his truck those are the cleanest sounding loud speakers I have heard in a while.

i was seriously thinking about the jl audio component and also getting some eclipse 4x6's and 3 1/2's and power them with the eclipse 32430 that is 200x4 with around with around 85 watts rms i am going for sound quality. i want everything to fit together nicely. my last system was over 10,000 and was pretty much an all bass system. this time i am going for sq

Re: elemental designs e10a.22 and avionixx 800.2
well if you're going for true sq then don't bother with rear speakers. You will barely be able to hear them, their only purpose is for fill. You can spend the extra money on better front components and a better amp to power them and it will end up sounding better.
