best tires?...

What would be the best tires for a firebird or camaro? I have kumho but they seem cheap, and I heard goodyear isn't the best.

BF Goodrich uses a softer rubber compound so they tend to hook a little better then other brands in the same catagory, but of course because of that they last a shorter period of time.

Re: best tires?...

I have Remington 245/50R16Z and have had them for a good 30,000 miles (about 15 months), but the tread on the rear is going quick, cost me $425.00 for 4 new tires with 20,000 mile warranty. I have humhos on the front of my S-10, and they suck! My remingtons on the back of the S-10 are still kickin! You pay for what you get! I don't know about goodyear, but that's my suggestion! Good Luck!

You didn't mention what size (16" or 17") you have. I have 275-40-17" Goodyear Eagle GSC's (they're available for 16" as well) and they suck in the wet. In the dry they work pretty good once you get some heat into them, but I'm due for a new set next spring and I will most likely go for the BF Goodrich G-Force KDW's. Just my
