Angry what the phuck!?

Im so confused, unbelievable! Ok, ive been going through so many cars. I have no idea what to get. Basically im looking for a 10 second car. First, I wanted the BMW M3, which I still would like, but its to much. Then I went 350z, but that only has two seats. So I thought, well, civics got nice body kits, but then I hear from people its not a reliable car. OK...so, i then take a look at the skyline, fall in love with it. I found one cheap, but not cheap enough, im only 17. Then I read a magazine article with some guy moding up his '97 eclipse. Its nice, but I want something else, so then I find the 3000gt. WOW, I hear from everyone, "damn!", when I ask if i should get it. "whoa, that thing is fast, its just so light.", thats what I hear. WHAT THE PHUCK!

I come on this forum and see that its heavy? Some guy was saying it has just about the same stats as a nissan maxima? MAXIMA, 1/4 mile-bout 15 sec.?@! And weights more!@? Now all of the sudden Im hearing people that I talk to bout it say that it has shitty reliablitly, bout 90k miles and its phucked. My dad tells me my neighbor once had one, he was selling it cuz it had some problem that cost $3000 to fix, and thats true. My sister tells me its no good, that mitsubishi aint that great of an importer, 3000gt was shit, thats why they stoped making it. This guy at work tells me its not worth putting money. GOD!

Basically, I wanna hear from you people, and what the phuck should I do. What car should I get, this is like a god damn curse or something, every car I say ok to, is bad. WTF? I need a 10 sec. car....one that I can make look nice too, also, two doors.

I always hear people dogging car reliability. But you have to consider how the person treats a car. Not everyone who buys these cars takes care of them. Mitsubishi is one of the better auto makers around period. No they are not lamborhgini but i never seen anyone put 200,000 miles on a lambo either. My 97 talon i bought used had the original spark plugs in it! with 70k on the guage. So beware not the car but the previous owner if you buy used.

I see that you have 2 options, depending upon your preference.

If you would enjoy saving Mitsubishi's original flagship, the first car that was sold in Mitsubishi dealerships -- get a Starion. They have large displacement SOHC 4 cylinder engine that most machine shops can completely rebuild for less than $3,000. I am the original and only owner of my Starion. I have 200K miles on original turbo and original engine -- so longevitity is not a concern.

If you would enjoy driving something right out of the dealership...

Re: what the phuck!?

Your awnser to can i get an eclipse into the 10s. Yes. Is this your first car if so are you sure u want a powerfull car to start with? i hate hondas but hey ive seen some good things from them. (CRX) easy 10s 11s.
Eclipses are good cars if thats what u want. They do have there points that will drive you mad but if you now your way around a DSM then you will be happy. drive cars before you choose.
