Looking for info on a LS/VTEC swap

Hey guys,

it has been awhile since i posted on here, anyway i decided to keep my civic hatch and not go DSM. My friend has a b16 head that he is giving to me so i need a LS block. I am trying to research as much info as i can about this swap, if you know of any good sites with basic info could u please post them up. Also, post up any sites that have a "how-to guide" (might not exist). If the swap goes as planned i will be adding a turbo set-up also....

thanx guys

IMO you should just try to find a B16 or GSR block.

now im not here to dog on LS/VTEC, it just seems to me that the numbers are far exagerated. think about it. Lower revving capability, a lot lower compression, weaker bottom end, and yet its rated at MORE horsepower than a stock B18C1? i highly doubt it.

im going with a b16 head, ls block..........im going with a 12:1 compression, i gaurentee with that swap and the upgraded cam, rods, pistons i will be running that could take a 4th gen with a b16a swapped into it with upgraded internals

Plus i have my car gutted from the driver seat back, i am predicting low 14's high 13's on street tires
