Cool A few GTR34 questions

Hi, well I am planning to possibly buy a GTR 34 in the future (2-3 years). Possibly a VPSEC II (yea, I wish...).

Just wondering if you guys can help me out.
I know the standard specs and the history of the skyline, but I have no clue what will best suite me when I modify the car.

I live in the states.
Lets just say I have about $200000.00 to spend, (Ill probably have around 150k, I dont know yet), and go to Japan to get a 34 and modify it. After modifying it (If I could modify it and get someone to help me), I would import to the US.

First question: Is it possible for me to import it? What do they have to change, other than the cataylic converters for it to be legal in the US?

Lets say, part of my 200k was on the car and the import. So, roughly, around 110k. That leaves me with the rest of the money to modify it.
This is where it gets confusing.
I really dont want the skylines purpose to just be a dragster (but I really want a good quarter mile time). I really want the skyline to be a reliable car (meaning that I will probably drive it 9000 miles a year in all weather conditions other than snow and strong downpours without damaging any part of the car).

There would be no N20 and no bodykits, and I will respect the car by not maxing the boost all the time.

So, what modifications (interior and engine) would you recommend with a 90K budget that really wouldnt damage the car in the long run and actually let me DRIVE the car. You know what I mean?

I know this question is a bit difficult and long, but I apologize. I would gladly appreciate feedback: . Thanks

Not if the car is highly modified. Not even any R34's right now..

Leave it stock . Then you can drive it lots more than 9,000 miles a year under all conditions.

Otherwise you need to let me know what you plan on doing with the car , and what your goals are . Horsepower wise , 1/4 mile time , etc.

Leave it stock and buy another car do drive / mess around with.....
