The Best Bodykit?

I was just wondering ,in your opinions, what the best bodykit is for fourth gens. I see mostly the Wings West kits. Would a Wings West front bumper look good with buddy club skirts and rear? Let me get some feedback guys!

Re: Re: The Best Bodykit?

My favorite is the one right from the factory(stock), unless the "body kit" is for function before looks.

Too bad for that nasty lookin' black side molding, other wise that hatch looks OK(nothing I'd waste my money on)Remove/shave moldings & install the exhaust pipe correctly - see the bumper all burnt?

that white one looks pretty tight actually.. except for the back bumper is too angled outwards.. if i had it, i would cut the center section from the exhaust hole to an identical hole on the other side so it has a nice missing section. rear bumpers that are low add drag. if you want it to semi-function aerodynamically, you want air to flow over the car and have a low pressure area under neath, but any air trapped must be able to flow easily out the back. with a large low hanging rear bumper, it adds drag

Well, it's extremely similar to the VIS Invader front bumper, which is what I have, but the area for the bumper lenses is totally different... The VIS bumper doesn't come with mounting locations for the bumper lenses...

WW is up on the top of the list for strength. fiberglass kits crack easier.

however, since i got a WW kit i hate it. i pulled everything off but front bumper. the door caps rubbed. the sideskirts collected rocks in the door jam. the rear bumper pushed my exhaust to hang lower...but the bumper (in design) it's self angels upward. go figure.

maybe i'm too picky...i dunno. just thought i would mention the things i didn't like in case you are like me

i have zero to say bad about the front bumper. i was parked in the last spot at a store the other day. some ass decided they wanted to make a parking spot infront of my car so they backed in. the ass baced up against my car enough to flex the bumper backwards. i can't even tell you how pissed i was. i was expecting cracks for sure. i was happy to find only a scratch from their plate screws.

Re: Re: Re: The Best Bodykit?

combat front bumper is the cleanest IMO, nevermind, i have that front bumper on my hatch. its ugly!!!! its sucky!!!! no one buy them!!! (ah well, at least i tried to keep people from getting it)

wingswest sides are definitely the cleanest, and either the wings west or combat rear would go well. but the wings west would have to be modified around the rear vents IMO, like opened up more. something about mine just doesnt look right
