Intake Backfire
This has happended to me twice how do i prevent it from happening again.

My car doesn't look fast and my car doesn't look furious...so when you see my taillights fade into the distance, remember this: I was into cars long before you and the rest of the trend-humping lemmings showed up and I'll be into cars long after you move on to the next pop-culture trend that you decide to shamelessly bastardize

describe a little better what you mean intake back-firing, ive only seen this on a carb'd vehicle and it was cuz the plug wires were on wrong.

you could have a valve hanging open

this also happens when using nitrous. are you using nitrous? if so change to direct port or move your nozzle closer to your tb.

I think this may have happened to me. Can anyone post a pic of how your plug wires are supposed to go? Thanx for the help.

1989 Crx Si -Aem cold air intake -thermal cat back -test pipe(makes exhaust sound really bad) -Skunk2 short shifter and knob -Hx wheels -Tenzo front and rear strut bars -parts waiting to go on- nuespeed header -waiting to be built-my spare a6 block, with y8 head, 93 valve cover, z6 intake manifold, integra tb....

nope all plugs on right nothing except the valves i guess

it can also be caused by improper ignition timing.
