lil help needed with my subs

i'm hooking up my cerwin vega 12's powered by a rockford punch900 amp
i'm just wondering where a nice inconspicuous spot is to run the power wire. my friends mazda has a little plastic shield through the firewall so all we had to do was drill into that and it was no biggie, but i don't see anything like that.

I ran mine through the "grommet" in the door. It comes out right behind the kickpanel and goes straight into the carpet along the door. Also, if you're an auto, there is a plastic piece that is where the clutch should go. Maybe you could go through that. Hope that helps a little.
Kevin.

we ran the hot wire under the fender behind the molding then tucked them under the kickplate. you can only see a little 8 guage wire when to door is open.

But my next problem is as follows:
the asswiper at Bestbuy sold me the wrong line output convertor. he said it was for the bose. since there were no inputs on the convertor i fgured they intedned you to hard wire it right to an existing speaker so i spliced it into the stock 8" bose sub. The first time i turned the music up i fried the stock amplifier and now the speaker sounds like someone torturing hamsters. i'm going to best buy right now to flip on the kid and demand they at least give me the right line convertor for free, and i'm gonna try to get these supposedly trained assholes to pay for my amp.
nothing ever goes right with these damn cars.

I drilled a hole through the firewall, under the dash to run my "hot" wire. Just make sure you don't drill a hole into anything in the engine compartment. As for splicing into the bose, I took all my bose speakers out and put in infinity speakers. They're better quality and don't need individual amps to run them. Good Luck!
