Auto Couture JZS161

Here is my next project an Aoshima Luxy series Aristo. The kit is pretty simple. The suspension is all snap together. Not like the other Aoshima VIP series cars with the "low down" spring suspension which needs a screwdriver to lower the suspension. Not sure what color i'm going to paint it yet. Either silver, or a midnight blue. What do you folks think?

Looks good. I think a midnight blue would look awesome on that car. Keep us posted.

Thanks, I guess the blue it is. I'll try and get a picture of the wheel this evening. Sorry I am not sure of the name of the wheels. I only seen them on this kit and the Luxy Auto Couture Celsior. They are big. Looks like a 20" wheel. Hopefully they release the wheels only. Gotta get me more of these.

Looks pretty sick. I thought it was an R/C car at first with those huge rims.

OK. Here are 2 pics showing the size of the wheels. I guess they weren't 20" wheels. they just look like they were. When put side by side, they are same as the 19" VIP wheels. The ones I measured with are the Fabulous Profound 19" VIP wheels.

Hi all. I got through painting the body. Still have to polish it out. I used automotive paints for this one. The color is Cortez blue by House of Kolor.
