Trans Am in the 1/4 easily. Especially with a few bolt ons. Course you won't find a 2003 Trans Am, the F-body was discontinued in 2002. The 2002 Trans Am will walk both.
If I had a choice: 2002 Trans Am 2003 350Z 2003 SRT-4 The Trans Am will have speed over all of them and power. It is also RWD which is much better then other. If you get a WS6 it will handle quite well, probably as much as you need. The 1/4 isn't a contest though, Trans Am all the way. Very little work to break 12's as they are. |

in 1/4 the srt 4 or t/a would win depending on the t/a traction and 350z would be last..in top end probably 350z or T/A would have highest top speed. Handling on a track the 350z thanks to independent suspension. The Srt 4 doesnt handle to well so maybe the t/a would take it. As far as bolt ons and stuff the T/A would kick some ass with new ring and pinion, air ild/filter,headers (full length) and exhaust and cam. The Srt 4 would kick ass upping the boost up. I dont know much about the 350z engine potential. But I do know that a street driven n/a v8s worst nightmare would be getting smoked by a turboed 4cyl. I have a older F body and its fun but I know the potential of a 4cyl. It all depends on how how you like your power. Lots of low end torque or high rpm with a kick of turbo. Id go with the T/A or Z as dodges reliabilty scares me as my parents always drove them. If Honda or Toyota made a compact with the Hp of the srt Id pick it. Srt is sweet just reliability of dodges sways me towards the others. Z will probably have the best resale for the next 10 years then the T/A may pick up unless they end up like the 3rds gens 20 years old and still worth like $500 for a clean 82 T/A
...Still the last T/A was freaking awesome and thats what sets it apart from the early 80's T/A...2002 T/A gets my vote for kick ass weekend driving

The SRT4 will only have a chance to beat the TA if it's been modified. Stock for stock it'll be the TA with the 350Z and the SRT4 vying for the second position...

Why doesn't he stop wasting time wondering what our opinions are and test the cars out himself. You got 3 fast cars there that are very different from one another.

thanks for your opinions.
ive drove 99 trans am and the new 03' srt-4 the srt seemed a little quicker for the first mabie 330ft. but i can deffinetly tell the trans am is alot quicker top end.(or about 330ft. and more. but never drove a 350z. personaly i would go w/ 1.trans am 2.srt-4(cause ive heard its just about as quick as the 350z and for 10,000 less. plus you can just boost the turbo. |

I'm not saying the SRT-4 is bad at all, its a nice quick car, but it just doens't hold up to the Trans Am or 350Z. Currently, striaght line speed is the Trans Am over 350Z, and in handling the Z over the Trans Am. The Trans Am looks badass, has the best 1/4 time stock of any of these cars which is what you'll be using most I'm guessing (Unless you happen to be an AutoXer). |

FWD can be just as good as RWD for a track car. Ever watch the Real Time Acuras on Speed Vision? there were kicking dust on the bmw 330s..I suggest riding in a ITA class CRX sometime or even watch them. For 1/4 I totaly agree that rwd is dope and awd is great till it drops the trans. RWD is good for drag but as daily driver Id take a fwd 4cyl over a RWD v8 as long as I have a v8 powered toy in the garage

F1 Racing, how many front wheel drive cars or WRC? There is a reason heh. I agree they can be very fun (Been in a few quick FWD's). For a daily driver a I4 Turbo FWD is a lot more practical (While still being fun), but I'm not a very practical person...

I am a firebird owner. but i say go with the 350Z. Roadster if you got enough cash. it's a gorgeous car and it turns heads. and there is a lot of aftermarket parts available as well.

I would choose the TA, but the Neon is cheapest for the price. The 350z got the looks though. All 3 are good choices
