Unhappy Dodge Neon SRT-4

Hmm... i don't know about these new SRT-4's. They are pretty quick and is under $20,000. So how come you spec-v'ers don't go for a SRT-$? Me, becuz i just don't like dodge and they are unreliable... What about you people?

So your bro bought an SRT-4 huh... is it pretty quick? I mean its all good and all, but there also has to be something bad about it too... like the reliability, tranny? anything?

well if the spec-v had a turbo kit out then I guess you could turbo it, but it's going to be a lot more than $3k

I highly, HIGHLY doubt Nismo will come out with anything we haven't seen before. Most likely it will be rebadged products that are already out, we already know Hotshot is making the Nismo header...

many of you are acting like dodge doesnt know what it is doing. Dodge has tons of experience disigning and building turbo motors. Granted the SRT-4 is still a neon, what do you expect for under $20k. I honestly am cheering dodge on. This is a great thing, and if you dont agree well then you have a problem.

Think about it, if dodge brings out a car that whoops everything in its class for less $$ then the other manufacturers will take note. Maybe this is just the push that nissan needs to bring over some of its turbo powerhouses. To me the SRT-4 is way cooler than a WRX, and from what i understand its noticebly faster. Ok , subaru brought out the STI, well i guess a $30k car should be faster. And about turboing your Spec-v well anything with enough money, but i can almost guarantee that it would not be as refined or as reliable as a factory built car.

just my $.02
