JDM swap, emmisions help

Will all the emissions equipment from my stock 91 7m-gte be compatible with a JDM 7m-gte? I just want to know if i'll be able to pass emissions in CA if I do the swap. I also read somewhere that the JDM engines don't run well on american gas, even premium. Is this true? If anyone knows of any links to sites with more info on JDM swapping I would really apreciate it. Thank you

I believe the jdm engine has a few differences in emmisions setup. But, the us emissions setup from your original motor will hook up. As long as you don't go removing cat's or things like that you should be fine.
