1.8 I/H/E versus 2.2 I/H/E

any gurus out there know if you put an I/H/E setup on a 1.6-1.8 civic/integra and you do the same thing to an I/H/E on a 2.2-2.4 block if you get more gains with the slightly larger engine? It sounds like it would make sense.
