GM 2.2L OHV DOHC: Interference or NON-Interference
Hello. Im trying to determine the difference between these two versions of the 2.2.L 4cly engines. 2.2L OHV and 2.2LDOHC
Now Im considering a T-CHAIN repair on a 1998 Pontiac Sufire 2.2L OHV engine. Is this an Interference Engine? Now on the 2.2L DOHC engine. Is this an Interference Engine? Does this engine have a Timing-CHAIN or a Timing-BELT? Does anyone know a compiled list or databse that lists engines and wether or not they're interference engines? It is not an interferance engine.The 1997 and down are interferance if the timing chain breaks
