Black Steelies?
Hi,
Since I cant afford the rims I want now I gotta save up. I saw the same car as mine a 4G4D with the painted black steels. It looked pretty good, kinda gives it a sleeper look. Well anyways I think im gonna do that. What kinda paint should I use that wont come off? Also, anyone got any pics on some 4th gens with the black steels? Thanks

mine came with black steelies stock... too bad you must've gotten the shitter model that didnt even come with hubcaps.. so you have the silver steelies.
actually, i think the silver steelies slammed look is pimpin.

krylon semi-flat black
flat doesnt look good, gloss looks gay i painted mine and my friends prelude rims and it sticks fine without primer, just scuff it up the semi flat makes em look new

Steelies suck either way, they're owning me now after my accident though.
 As long as the car is lowered it looks fine with any colour steelies, but if its not lowered its gonna look dumb no matter what colour you paint them.

yes it will get dirt stuck to them but if your not a lazy ass and wash your car everyweek or whenever it gets dirty like i do you dont have that problem because it takes awhile for the shine to fade away
even with dirt on there you cant tell unless your a footaway and thats why you whipe it on so theres not alot of it and gangsta means cool, tite, phat whatever you want to call it

Mine are by no means "gangsta".. They're rusty. They're more like ghetto than gangsta.
 I'm getting some 88-89 CRX rims next week though so that will get rid of my fugly wheel problem I'm having right now. I miss my C8s.

Slipstreams are pimp, bandwagon or not, find lighter rims for that price in 16"s, and I'll buy 'em.

ya my steelies are the worst ever. They were silver but for some reason, theres this black shit on them that won't come off so part of them are black and part are silver
