I'm assuming that you saw that special on fox? Right? Well if not watch it. I think that Americans did land on the moon back in 1969. There are conspiracys though that prove otherwise. It all makes sense that we could land there becasue even though there was extreme radiation, Russian and American probes and satellites have been able to go to the moon and MArs and relay back info. I know it's different for man to go to the moon but if can build huge spacestations, satellites, probes, shuttles and landers, I'm sure that man was there.

It was called the biggest hoax but, satellites which operate at slightly lower altitudes are real and everybody knows that with no doubt. The Sojourner lander at Mars is also proof that we can make it out there or that is just another huge, expensive hoax.

The only reason for me to possibly doubt the fact that we were there is because thirty years ago, technology sucked. Nowadays it seems more believable. Just think in the 60's most people never even heard of a PC, today ours have more memory and are faster than those of the Staurn rockets used to go to the moon.

Personally, I think that we should go back to shut up all of the theorists.

Post Hmmm.. very provocative

I'll admit there are some very compelling stories and gatherings of tid-bits that make it very feasible that we never actually made it to the moon. Apparently there is an exhibit in Hawaii that if you visit it, you will swear that you are on the moon, or at least in the same place that Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldridge were in 1969.....

But, I still believe.

Talking Moonshot?

Of course we went to the moon! Heck if man can create the Pontiac Aztek and get away with it then surely he could get to the moon and back!!!!

I think we should go there today (not literally today) just to prove that it is possible to get to the moon.

If we did get there back in the 60's, then we are pretty pathetic today considering we have all these technological advancements and billions dollar space ships that failed to land on Mars 2x. What have we to show for ourselves?

I am torn on this one. There is good evidence on both sides but I think there is more against than for. There are a few things that just don't fit. Like how the hell did they get pictures of Armstrong stepping off the lander ?? Notice how there are no stars, then there is the reflections in the face mask, and the radiation they had to pass through, and the fact that the technology sucked, and the space race, I could go on. We all know the government lies. I wouldn't be surprised in the least if it was all a set up and filmed in a studio....

I do believe they got a satellite up there but landing a man, don't think so...

Just my 2cents...

I don't want people to land on Mars yet. Even though this is off-topic, people are so obessed with getting to Mars, I want to see people colonize the moon, to prove not only that they made it there but that when the earth blows up, all of the rich people will have a Utopia on the moon. I also have a little something for space colonies, stations and such, It just fascinates me.

BTW, Sorry. But My Mom's Boysfriend's Stepdad (Step Grandfather for short) golfs with Neil Armstrong, I might meet him someday. But I don't know if I'd ask him wether or not he actually went. He'd probably smack me.

It isn't worth it to colonize the moon, there is nothing there.
