SR20det

I have a 93 G20, manual trans., and I really want to make it faster. I want to buy a jdm det motor but I don't think I have enough money. What options do I have? Super or turbo? Also, who has the best prices on JDM engines on the west coast?

If you dont have a lot of money, that will be a problem. You can source a DET for around $1300 or so, but you'll need another $2500 to complete the job. (Labor, tuning, intercooler, piping, etc...)

Forget the supercharger idea. There arent any production ones for our cars.

Louis (APEXSER) has posted some good info recently on DET's, and turboing...

How to choose the right turbo!

You will need around $4000 whether you DET or turbo.

If you're looking for the DET you can contact [email protected] for one.
