SR20DETs in Montreal

Hey Zykotic (Shaun),

I remember you posting before about DETs being available at a place in Montreal for $2000Cdn. I'm guessing that's a bluebird, right? Have you had any experiences with the vendor? Also, do they have other SR series engines like the SR20VE or SR16VE available? I'm in Toronto and I've never been to Montreal so I wouldn't mind driving over there to pick one up (and check out the city too). Anyways, I don't have the money yet cause I just bought Jason's rims but I'm looking at Spring time next year to do the swap.

Yup we have a few shops here that import motors from Japan. You can get the motor for 1800$ CDN and usually includes tranny, harness and ECU.

As for comin to Montreal it'd be cool to have some G riders come here for an import night...show the city that the world does not revolve around hondas.

Joe, did you meet James McColl at Shannonville. I'm pretty sure he was supposed to be out there this weekend. Anyway, he knows of someone in Toronto who can source a Bluebird DET for you at what I remember as a very favorable price, and install it if you need him too as well at a good price.

I've met James (see my other post re: Shannonville) so it's a good thing he knows of a place to get a DET. About the installation, after doing my clutch a few months ago, I feel I can do an engine swap (of course with a little, make that a lot, of help from the SER mailing list and archives. Anyways, I'm not yet ready financially so like I said maybe next spring. I would still like to drive down to Montreal for a G-fest if there are others in the area willing. G-Forces? Dprotech?
