Parisienne (Catalina) VS Camaro SS

Hey all, me again.

Figured i'd throw in a story bout my Parisienne since the Colt had
fun the last time.

My car's a stock 1982 Parisienne with a 305 small block 8, 3spd auto
tranny, 4 barrel carb from some old muscle car engine (forget where
i got it)

Anyways. It's 11 at night, and i'm drivin home from babysitting of all
things and let me tell you about my trip.

1st, a 2001 Celica follows me through a light, and when he gets the chance, wants to cook by me, and i'm already cruisin at 20 above the the speed limit ( 80km/hour, that's about 55mph ). So i see him move over and i just floor it for no reason other than to try. My car kicked into 2nd and roared up to 130km/hour and i held there for 5 seconds until it shifted into 3rd at 140km/hour. I rocked his ass, just couldn't keep up, and he ended up falling behind me and taking his turn.

Now that my engine had warmed up, i was just itchin to run again, and
i got my chance. I'm stopped at a red light, and this 17 yr old blonde and her g/f pull up next to me. I looked over, rev my engine and yell
wassup! to the ladies. They laugh, and rev back ready to leave me behind.

I shift into 1st and wait for the light. It's goes green and i floor it. Now being 20 years old, my car doesn't stomp much off the start. But i hit into 2nd gear at about 80km/hour in 5 seconds or so, look in my rearview, and see the camaro had burned itself around and was facing the wrong direction. Just goes to show you chicks can't drive.

Finally, in the residential area going home, i'm stopped at a stop next to a low boy Acura with a low boy Talon right behind it. No need to say any more, they were out to race. When the traffic cleared, they got the jump on me, but again i was power shifting my automatic, burning it for all it's worth. I stomped them both, :ylsuper on about a 4 km strip of residential with turns and the rest. I don't know how the hell i did it, but none of them seemed to have been able to drive, or they had $hiet for clutches and LOST speed with every shift.

One way or the other, don't be pissin on the old sedans. My Pontiac's got muscle, and i know how to use it.

Im sure you have tons of other stories dude. I have tons as well with my caprice. Your love for old sedans and there power is well recieved by me due to the disrespect by many thinking that they are slow, until I smoke em

PPL just dont respect old sedans. Right now Im running a caprice classic[which I love], and my first car was a 81 Malibu Classic that had a 350 dropped in there by the previous owner.

Both are alot of fun and are very luxurious rides.

Ill post some of my stories soon then, now that I know there is someone out there who would respect.
