mini-me????
Does anybody know where i can get a how to with a list of parts?, but i need it for a y8 and not the z6, or is it the exact same thing? also should i get a v-tec controller( what kind do u recommend) or a ecu with v-tec? (which one will work better) i am trying to help out my friend he has a d16a6 in his hatch and really want to do this mod. He already has the y8 head and i heard that the a6 dist. will fit perfectly without anymodification is this true?

y8 and z6 head are almost the same...differnt flow rates and different sensors....but it will work. as far as parts list goes....head, all necessary gaskets, p28 ecu preferably or vafc(converting to obd1 and the p28 would be a better choice), the distributor needs to be modified...you will see this as you try and put it on.http://crx.honda-perf.org/articles/z6swap/z6swap.html check out that link...step by step but with a z6 head...basicaly the same thing. but why the mini me? all it is is a larger cam profile at higher rpms....all you need to do is throw a larger cam in the a6 head....although the mini makes for better drivability...if you like....delta cams will do a regrind for the a6 total about $110....its a pretty large cam profile and i know of few that have them and they love it...if not check out that link.
